We strive to be student-centered at all times and to be responsive to your needs and questions. We hope that our website will provide you with additional information about the admission prerequisites and application deadline for your particular academic program, but welcome the opportunity to meet with you personally.

A visit to our campus is an opportunity for you to learn more about the University and for us to learn more about you. We conduct information sessions about our programs on a regular basis. In addition, the Admission Office offers individual academic counseling by advance appointment.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974
FERPA, or the Buckley Amendment, is a federal law designed to protect the privacy of a student's educational record. Without specific, written permission from you, the applicant to Samuel Merritt University, we will not discuss your application for admission with any other individual, except as provided within this Act.

Annual Campus Safety and Security Notice

Samuel Merritt University's Annual Campus Safety and Security Report available. This report, required of all institutions receiving federal financial aid, contains crime statistics and policy statements for all four (4) campuses. The policy statements address the University's policies, procedures and programs concerning safety and security, including emergency response, notification and evacuation procedures, and sexual offenses. Three (3) years' worth of statistics are included for certain types of crimes that were reported to have occurred on campus, in or on off-campus buildings and property owned or controlled by the University, and on public property with or immediately adjacent to the campuses.
